The tour begins from Madurai, where travelers are picked up from the Madurai Railway Station or Airport and proceed to the holy island of Rameswaram, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage destinations. During the tour you will visit famous places such as Pamban Bridge, Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, Ram Setu, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial and many sacred theerthams in Rameswaram. The journey continues to the southernmost tip of India, Kanyakumari, where you will explore landmarks like Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Triveni Sangam, Bhagavathy Amman Temple and Sunset Point. Finally the tour concludes with sightseeing in Madurai including the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Madurai to Rameswaram
Pickup from Madurai Railway Station / Airport and proceed to Rameswaram. The travel time is approximately 3.5 hours.
On the way enjoy the scenic view of Pamban Bridge and visit Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial.
After reaching Rameswaram check-in to the hotel and refresh. Later proceed for Ramanathaswamy Temple Darshan.
Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 2 – Rameswaram Local Sightseeing
After breakfast visit the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple for darshan and begin local sightseeing.
Places Covered: Dhanushkodi, Ram Setu, Kodanda Ramar Temple, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam House, Ramar Patham, Ramar Temple & Ramar Theertham, Lakshmana Temple & Lakshmana Theertham, Seetha Theertham, Floating Stone, Nataraja Temple, Five Face Hanuman Temple.
Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 3 – Rameswaram to Kanyakumari
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Travel time is approximately 6 hours.
After arrival check-in to the hotel and begin local sightseeing.
Places to Visit (Walk): Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue (Boat Ride), Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Triveni Sangam, Gandhi Memorial, Kamaraj Memorial.
Places to Visit by Vehicle: Wax Museum, Thousand Year Old Shiva Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sunset Point.
Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 4 – Kanyakumari to Madurai
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Madurai. Travel duration is approximately 3.5 hours.
After reaching Madurai visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple for darshan.
Places Covered: Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Gandhi Museum.
After sightseeing drop at Madurai Airport / Railway Station marking the end of the tour.
